User-Friendly Desktop

Similar to a typical e-mail application, Softshare Vista’s interface is divided into two main components. A folder list displays on the left and, on the right, the contents of the highlighted folder. You can customize Vista’s interface by creating new folders, setting message previews, and choosing the perfect combination of column headers.

EDI Document Creation

When you create or reply to an EDI document in Softshare Vista, the appropriate TPK is invoked and an easy-to-read form displays, prompting you for the exact information required by that trading partner for the type of document you are creating. To reduce your data entry efforts, Vista will auto-fill as many fields in the form as possible.

Advanced Document Management

Using EDI Event Watch, you can set Softshare Vista Professional to automatically perform management functions each time an EDI document meets established criteria. For example, you could create an event watch that alerts you with a custom message each time a trading partner cancels a purchase order that you have already invoiced.

BarTender Enterprise

If your trading partners require bar codes or RFID tags from you, Softshare is able to ship a third-party labeling application. Manufactured by Seagull Scientific, BarTender Enterprise® lets you create and print bar code labels and RFID tags from Softshare Vista Professional.
