Integration Bridge for SAP
Not only does Softshare's Integration Bridge for SAP get you from point A to point B, it gets you there fast, with features that make modeling, mapping, and integrating with SAP a snap.
Instant IDoc Modeling
SAP's proprietary data formats for importing and exporting EDI data are called IDocs. IDocs are lengthy and complicated data files, making them tedious and time consuming to model. But with the Softshare IDoc Modeler, you can cross tedious-and-time-consuming modeling right off your to-do list. This utility dynamically retrieves IDoc layouts from your SAP R/3 server and models them, down to the last detail, in Softshare Delta.
Head Start on Mapping
The Integration Bridge for SAP installs with nine sample maps that illustrate common business scenarios. These maps provide an excellent reference point for mapping to and from SAP.
The SAP sample maps cover both the ANSI X12 and UN/EDIFACT EDI standards, as well as both the data file IDoc format (for use with SAP R/3) and the XML IDoc format (for use with SAP Netweaver):
ANSI X12 EDI SAP IDoc (Data File)
- EDI 850 version 4010 to SAP IDoc ORDERS03
- SAP IDoc INVOICE01 to EDI 810 version 4010
- SAP IDoc DELVRY02 to EDI 856 version 4010
UN/EDIFACT EDI SAP IDoc (Data File)
- EDI INSDES version D96.A to SAP IDoc ORDERS05
- SAP IDoc ORDERS05 to EDI ORDRSP version D97.A
- SAP IDoc DELVRY03 to EDI RECADV version D96.A
ANSI X12 EDI SAP IDoc (XML)
- EDI 810 version 4010 to SAP IDoc INVOICE01
- EDI 856 version 4010 to SAP IDoc DELIVERY01
- SAP IDoc ORDERS03 to EDI 855 version 4010

Real-Time Integration
Installation of the Integration Bridge for SAP unlocks an SAP-specific output queue in Softshare ECS, Softshare's communications server. This queue initiates direct data integration with one or more SAP R/3 servers, whether local or remote. You can verify successful integration of Delta-produced IDocs at any time using Softshare's IDoc Integration Test Utility.
Thorough Documentation
Thorough documentation ensures that you won't miss a step when setting up your SAP integration solution.
