How it Works

Softshare will provide you and your trading partners with all the components necessary to exchange EDI transactions.

For You, the Hub

On your end, you'll oversee ECS Enterprise, Delta Enterprise, and the Athena ASP pages. ECS Enterprise will seamlessly route all incoming and outgoing transactions, taking advantage of its built-in POP3 server to host any number of Athena and/or Vista mailboxes. Delta Enterprise will provide all translation services, letting you integrate your e-commerce documents with your back-end applications. The Athena ASP pages will provide your trading partners with a friendly Web interface in which to access their mailboxes.

For Your Trading Partners

You'll provide your trading partners with mailbox numbers and passwords. These mailbox numbers and passwords can then be used by your trading partners within Athena or Vista to access their private mailboxes. They'll then use Athena or Vista's interface to view, respond to, and create EDI transactions.
