Softshare Vista & Delta Users: Trade Up!

If you're currently running Softshare Vista in conjunction with Delta, now’s the time to upgrade to ECS 5.0. ECS and Delta tightly integrate with one another and, by pairing the two, you'll have better data visibility and more control over data flow and exception handling. To offer some additional incentive, Softshare is offering a special promotion. Through June 2007, we'll discount the cost of ECS Lite or ECS Standard by your original Vista purchase price.

There’s another reason for you to consider upgrading from Vista to ECS Lite or ECS Standard. With the release of ECS 5.0, Softshare has discontinued new sales for Vista+Delta integration solutions. Instead, clients looking for an integration package will choose from one of ECS 5.0’s three versions to pair with Delta. If you’re currently running our Vista+Delta integration solution, we’ll continue to support your solution through 2008, but in 2009, support will be officially discontinued.

Note: This applies to Vista+Delta integration solutions only. Softshare will continue to sell and support Vista as a stand-alone application.

If you do decide to upgrade to ECS, Softshare has two upgrade tools in place to help you quickly bring your new ECS install up to speed. We’ll provide a Softshare Vista Export tool (read about it in the Softshare Knowledge Base) that exports the messages stored in Vista en-masse to files that can then be easily imported into ECS. We’ll also provide a Delta map that automatically migrates all data from Vista’s Trading Partner Manager to ECS’s Trading Partner Manager. These utilities along with complete documentation on how to use them will be provided to you at the time of ECS purchase.

If you have any questions regarding our current ECS upgrade promotion or the eventual discontinuation of Vista+Delta support, please don’t hesitate to call or e-mail a Softshare sales representative for more information.
