Softshare Vista 4.0 Release

The next generation of Softshare Vista is here and it is fabulous! Vista 4.0 is full of great new enhancements and features that will make your EDI operations even easier. The new version is available for an upgrade fee of $50.00 or $100.00, depending on whether you run Vista Standard or Vista Professional.

Two notable new features of Softshare Vista 4.0 (Professional edition) are its support for the FTP Mailbox Template and Application Integration add-on components. Both of these components have the power to revolutionize your EDI operations.

FTP Mailbox Template
If you would like to communicate with any or all of your trading partners directly via FTP, you can bypass Softshare's network altogether by installing the optional FTP Mailbox Template add-on component. Released in tandem with Vista 4.0, this add-on component lets you upload and download EDI documents to and from any FTP server.

Application Integration Component (AIC)
The AIC lets you directly integrate EDI purchase orders (850s) and invoices (810s) that are sent and received by Vista with internal accounting applications such as QuickBooks®. Released in tandem with Vista 4.0, this add-on component is customized to your EDI operations, providing for out-of-the-box integration.
