Two months ago, Softshare celebrated the 10,000th download of Softshare EDI Notepad, our free editing utility. As this big milestone approached, we got really excited. A counter was put up on our Web site to build momentum (it is still there today, showing 12,843 total downloads). A press release was written and ready for publication the moment the big 10,000 was reached. We even contemplated prizes for the 10,000th downloader!
Can you blame us for our exuberance? In just over a year, EDI Notepad went from a little-known utility that we distributed exclusively with our software to a respected EDI tool used all over the world. Here's a sampling of what we've heard about Softshare EDI Notepad so far:

Softshare is well on its way to meeting our goal of making EDI Notepad the standard application for viewing and editing EDI. But we appreciate all the word of mouth we can get. Please tell your EDI colleagues and trading partners about EDI Notepad. Anyone can use it, regardless of whether they have a Softshare EDI solution or an EDI solution from another provider; EDI Notepad is truly a stand-alone EDI editor.
