Softshare's clients have long enjoyed the convenience of viewing and editing EDI documents in EDI Notepad, a proprietary utility that Softshare ships with Softshare Vista, Delta, and ECS. On June 5, 2006, Softshare released EDI Notepad to the wild, making it available as a free download to anyone who is looking for an intuitive interface in which to manipulate EDI documents.
For those of you who have used EDI Notepad before, you know that it's a flexible EDI editor, featuring several viewing modes, syntax validation, EDI edit tools, document delivery capabilities, and even automated functional acknowledgment generation. If you haven't discovered EDI Notepad yet and are a Vista, Delta, or ECS user, you can open EDI Notepad from the program group of your Softshare application. If you are an Athena user, now's the time to download it!
Softshare's goal is to make EDI Notepad the standard application for viewing and editing EDI. We'd appreciate your help. Please tell your EDI colleagues and trading partners about EDI Notepad. Anyone can use it, regardless of whether they have a Softshare EDI solution or an EDI solution from another provider; EDI Notepad is truly a stand-alone EDI editor.
