At our annual holiday party, Softshare's president, Frank Gott, referred to this past year as "2004.0". It's an accurate way to describe the year because we've all been focused on the development and release of our 4.0 product line.
Softshare Vista, Softshare Delta, and Softshare ECS were all promoted to a 4.0 release. If you're currently running a 3.0 product, here's some information on upgrading.
Softshare Vista 3.0 Standard users can purchase Vista Standard 4.0 for $50.00. Softshare Vista Professional 3.0 users can purchase Vista Professional 4.0 for $100. *Beginning January 1, 2005, all Softshare TPK (trading partner kit) development will be compatible with the 4.0 release of Vista only. Any new TPKs that you purchase in 2005 will require the accompanying purchase of Vista 4.0. Similarly, any TPK modifications after April 1, 2005 will also require the purchase of Vista 4.0.
Softshare Delta 3.0 Standard users can purchase Delta Standard 4.0 for $1500. Softshare Delta 3.0 Enterprise users can purchase Delta Enterprise 4.0 for $2400. If you are currently covered under the Softshare Support and Maintenance Agreement, a 50% discount will apply. To request an upgrade to Delta 4.0, visit Softshare eService. *Softshare will continue to support the 3.0 release of Delta until April 1, 2005. After April 1, support for Delta 3.0 may be billed at $150.00 per hour.
