Did you know that, from Softshare eService, you can resend any document that has passed through your Softshare mailbox within the last 30 days? Or that you can generate a variety of HTML reports based on EDI documents that have been sent to and from your Softshare mailbox within the last 90 days? Read on to learn how.
This eService feature lets you resend both incoming and outgoing EDI transactions and e-mail messages to their original recipients. For example, if a document didn’t reach your trading partner due to a transmission error, you can resend it to the trading partner. Or, if you find that you need to review a document that a trading partner sent you, but you already deleted it, you can resend it to your Softshare mailbox.
To restage a document, log into eService and select the “Mailbox Management” menu link. eService displays 30 days of mailbox traffic data, organized by date. Select a date and from within this day’s listing of data (Figure 1), you can restage as many documents as necessary.
This eService feature lets you run eight different management reports (Figure 2a.gif)
) against the last 90 days of EDI data that has passed through your Softshare mailbox. The resulting report output can be printed or saved to a file.
To run a management report, log into eService and select the left-hand “Management Reports” menu link. Select the type of report you want to run, enter a date range, and click the Submit button to generate the report.
