Communicating with Support
When you need help with one of your Softshare applications, you can help us ensure that your issue is addressed quickly and efficiently by providing the following information when you call or e-mail Softshare Support:
- Your software version and build number (accessed by selecting Help|About from your Softshare product menu)
- Your operating system version (for example, Windows 98 or Windows 2000)
- Your installation type (for example, network or stand-alone)
- A detailed description of the problem (including the error message(s) that displayed), when it occurred, any settings or installation changes introduced beforehand, and the steps that you have taken so far to resolve it
- Any other information that relates to your issue, including screen captures, database or map snapshots, and so on
